2019 is our third year growing vegetables commercially at Root to Rise. We are excited to continue to refine our minimal tillage techniques. This methodology is beneficial for soil life and reduces our use of fossil fuels, making for a system that produces healthy food, helps restore degraded rangeland soils, and has a lighter impact on the planet.
Harvest: greens, baby roots & more.
We specialize in salad greens (arugula, baby kale, spinach, baby lettuce, and signature mild & medium spring mixes) & quick-growing root vegetables (radishes & salad turnips). Other offerings include bunching greens, summer squash, scallions, sugar snap peas, bush beans, tomatoes & herbs. You can find us at the Shields Valley Farmers Market in Clyde Park (Mon 4:30-7pm), Bogert Farmer's Market in Bozeman (Tuesdays 5-8 pm) & Livingston Farmers Market (Wednesdays 4:30-7:30 pm) from June-September. We also sell to a handful of fine dining establishments. Sample our vegetables turned into a beautiful meal by staying at our B&B or attending a farm-to-yoga event. Come visit the farm!
